About Corner Commons

Corner Commons is a temporary public space located at the southeast corner of the Jane/Finch intersection in the parking lot of the Jane Finch Mall. It’s a free and accessible space created with, by, and for the Jane-Finch community. Everyone is welcome to have a seat, hang out, and enjoy the outdoors!

Coordinated by the Jane/Finch Centre, the project is supported by the architectural and design studio Perkins + Will and guided by a community working group of local resident leaders, organizations.

Corner Commons and Flaunt-It are committed to collaborating annually to produce an entirely resident-led Arts Festival. The goal is to help preserve the vibrant arts and culture that shapes our community by providing an in-person platform for our local talent and businesses.


  • DAY 1 - ARTIST SHOWCASE - The Artist Showcase will present back-to-back performances all afternoon long featuring the talent raised here in Jane-Finch!
  • DAY 2 - SMALL BUSINESS / VENDOR MARKET - Surrounded by small businesses, there will be exclusive sales and discounts available for their in-person sales!
